Karen started her legal career at Coyne, Schultz, Becker & Bauer, S.C. in 1995 and then returned to the firm in 2006 after working for five years as in-house counsel for a local insurance company. While Karen’s practice includes personal injury and professional negligence cases, most of Karen’s work is on insurance coverage cases and medical malpractice cases, in which she handles briefing and other pretrial submissions. Karen has also represented a variety of clients in Wisconsin’s appellate courts.
Karen is a member of the Dane County Bar Association; the Wisconsin Defense Counsel; and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Karen lives in Madison with her husband. She serves on the board of the Notre Dame Club of Madison.
